Learning, Teaching, Training Activity 15-16 July

SYNTHESIS Center for Research and Education will virtually host the third Learning Teaching Training Activity of the project “TESEO – Arianna’s Strands in the Digital Age”, financed by the European Commission in the framework of the ERASMUS+ Programme, and led by the Center for Studies “Media Culture Society” of the Department of Political and Social Studies (University of Salerno). The LTTA will take place on July the 15th between 14:00-17:30 and July the 16th between 10:00-13:30 and 15:00-17:30.

TESEO is an Erasmus+ Higher Education project, which aims to develop a new training curriculum in line with the current needs of the labour market and the digitalization of our times.

The third learning, teaching, training activity will exemplify the intersections between technology, media and culture across various sectors (academia, institutions, non-governmental organisations, cultural industry and cultural initiatives, and the employment and entrepreneurial sector) In particular, this LTTA will focus on:

– elements of digital cultures and their intersection with technology and media studies;

– report on new digital learning tools;

– analysis of virtual learning laboratories;

– analysis of cross-media teaching methods and the most effective tools;

– verification of the impact of such teaching methods at the learner level;

The objective of this activity is the search for technological solutions suitable for the realization of cultural and artistic initiatives and projects, but also for the utilization of those technological solutions for enhancing the learning and teaching experience. Having this in mind, this learning activity aims to open discussion between the actors involved in the research of those digital and transversal competences that they are absolutely necessary for today’s European labour market.

The two-day event will also be attended by the students and professors of TESEO’s university partners: the Università degli Studi di Salerno, the Universitàt Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona, the Université Paul Valéry III of Montpellier, the Universidade Lusófona of Lisbon. Moreover, SYNTHESIS, the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce, the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce of Munich and Stuttgart will equally join as TESEO partners they too.

Mini-lectures will thus be held by the representatives and guest speakers of each partner institution/organisation, namely by scholars as well as experts from private representative bodies, and practitioners.
