For some years now, studies of the phenomenon of cyberbullying have been questioning the importance of the role played by the new media in bullying in general. This course aims to provide students with a critical understanding of the phenomenon of bullying. Media education enables them to improve their understanding of the media, to master its uses and to take a critical look at it. The objective is to transmit to all (children, teenagers, adults) the knowledge, know-how and skills essential for an enlightened use of the different media. The course focuses both on the traditional forms of bullyingthat usually take place on school premises and on cyber-bullying, which occurs via information and communication technologies.
